Global Weekend of Action against Vogue/Condé Nast and the fur trade – October 24th – 26th.

Mark your calendars for the weekend before Halloween to take action against the monsters at Vogue Magazine!
Vogue World 2025 is taking place in Hollywood, California this year on October 26th and CAFT USA is calling on activists around the globe to speak up for the foxes that have no voice of their own. Vogue wields significant power in fashion and continues to lend its platform to this horrific trade. Let’s ensure that Vogue World 2025 becomes a day that haunts them—and a turning point for the fur-bearing animals that die for Vogue’s pages.
TOP TARGET FOR THE UNITED STATES: VOGUE
In the United States, CAFT and the anti-fur movement at large have beaten nearly every single major fashion company that sells fur, yet fur keeps showing up on the runways and in the major magazines’ pages and social media accounts, ensuring that fur will stay in vogue.
If you wanna see a world without fur, we need big fashion to finally turn its back on fur. Which is exactly why CAFT USA is demanding that Vogue and its parent company, Condé Nast, enact a fur-free policy across all of their brands just as Elle Magazine did in 2021.
By beating Vogue Magazine, we pave the way for a fur-free future with companies like Louis Vuitton and FENDI that are holding onto fur despite thousands of protests.
TOP TARGET FOR EUROPE: BERLUTI/LVMH
Despite the headlines you see from corporate animal rights organizations, fur is still alive and well.
The fur industry has been struggling due to the enormous amount of pressure it has faced over the past four years – but the job is far from over because even the biggest brands, such as Louis Vuitton, Dior, Loro Piana, Fendi & our current focus for the LVMH campaign, Berluti, all still proudly stock clothing made from the bodies of fur-bearing animals. Outside their commitment to cruelty, these designers all have one other thing in common: they are owned by LVMH.
LVMH is not your average opponent; they are the world’s largest luxury company, they have 75 houses and they are run by one of the richest men on the planet: Bernard Arnault. Many groups these days are giving up on fur because they assume that the industry will just die out… think again. LVMH is heavily invested in fur and as long as they want to have fur on the racks – commercial fur farming will continue.
We do not beat fur – until we beat LVMH.
REGIONAL TARGETS:
Don’t have Vogue or an LVMH target in your city? Not a problem, we need all boots on the ground to make sure that the fur industry takes its last breath before we let up on the pressure. What does this mean – we need your city to help identify and target the last companies in your town selling fur and we need you and your team to force them out of the fur business. If you need help with this project, we are here to help.
GLOBAL ACTIONS ARE VITAL FOR ANIMAL LIBERATION:
One city targeting Vogue or LVMH on any given weekend may annoy our opponent, but dozens of cities across the globe standing up simultaneously to demand a fur-free policy is enough to bring even the most hardened animal abusers into a state of panic.
Start planning an action in your city today!
