THE MARCH TO END FUR AT MILAN FASHION WEEK (ITALIANO)
For decades the animal rights movement has said the end of fur is right around the corner. It is finally within reach. CAFT and the anti-fur movement have convinced nearly every major luxury designer to ban fur, gotten it removed from retailers and department stores, have ended its promotion in influential magazines like Vogue and Harper’s BAZAAR, and now we aim to get it out of all major runways. Milan Fashion Week is the most important fight this year. We are calling on all animal lovers, activists, and compassionate people to join us.

The world’s “big four” fashion weeks are New York, London, Milan, and Paris. Two of them have already banned fur. London Fashion Week was the first to announce a ban on fur, and New York Fashion Week followed after a 20-day campaign from CAFT. That leaves just Milan and Paris.
The end of fur starts with getting it out of every major fashion show, and Milan is next.
Fur comes from animals like foxes and raccoon dogs, canines, like our dogs at home, and minks, kept in tiny cages on factory farms for their entire lives. These animals are killed violently, by neck-breaking, electrocution, and poisoned gas. The luxury fashion industry has been condoning and enabling it for DECADES. This September, we say ENOUGH.
Saturday, September 26 | THE ANTI FUR MARCH
Hundreds of people from across Italy and Europe will march through the heart of Milan’s fashion district to demand an end to fur on the runway, during Milan’s most important week: the runway shows SIGN UP HERE.
This march is part of CAFT’s campaign and our strategy is working. FIVE major sponsors have already walked away from Milan Fashion Week. It’s time to take our demands directly to Milan’s runways and to the people who are keeping the fur industry alive.
Whether it’s your first demonstration or your hundredth, we want you there! The march is also part of a full Week of Action (September 22–27), with protests and actions across Milan–if you can, join us there too!

We will be chartering two buses to drive people to the march, so you can march with us and still get home without the hassle of arranging your own travel. Seats are limited, reserve yours when you SIGN UP HERE.
What to expect
The march is a legal, family-friendly, public demonstration. Signs, banners, and materials will be provided, but you are welcome and encouraged to bring your own! Kindly refrain from bringing dogs because this event will be too noisy for them.

Da decenni il movimento per i diritti degli animali dice che la fine della pelliccia è ormai vicina. Ora è finalmente a portata di mano. CAFT e il movimento anti-pelliccia hanno convinto quasi tutti i principali stilisti del lusso a vietare la pelliccia, l’hanno fatta togliere dai rivenditori e dai grandi magazzini, ne hanno fatto cessare la promozione su riviste influenti come Vogue e Harper’s BAZAAR, e ora puntiamo a eliminarla da tutte le principali passerelle. La Milano Fashion Week è la battaglia più importante di quest’anno. Chiediamo a tutti gli amanti degli animali, agli attivisti e alle persone compassionevoli di unirsi a noi.

Le “quattro grandi” fashion week del mondo sono New York, Londra, Milano e Parigi. Due di queste hanno già vietato la pelliccia. La Londra Fashion Week è stata la prima ad annunciare il divieto, seguita dalla New York Fashion Week dopo una campagna di 20 giorni condotta da CAFT. Restano solo Milano e Parigi.
La fine della pelliccia comincia con la sua eliminazione da ogni grande sfilata, e Milano è la prossima.
La pelliccia proviene da animali come volpi e cani procione, canidi come come quelli a casa nostra, e visoni, tenuti in minuscole gabbie negli allevamenti intensivi per tutta la vita. Questi animali vengono uccisi con violenza: rottura del collo, elettrocuzione e gas velenosi. L’industria della moda di lusso ha tollerato e permesso tutto questo per DECENNI. Questo settembre diciamo BASTA.
Sabato 26 settembre | LA MARCIA ANTI-PELLICCIA
Centinaia di persone provenienti da tutta Italia ed Europa marceranno nel cuore del distretto della moda di Milano per chiedere la fine della pelliccia in passerella, durante la settimana più importante di Milano: quella delle sfilate. ISCRIVITI QUI.
Questa marcia fa parte della campagna di CAFT e la nostra strategia sta funzionando. CINQUE grandi sponsor hanno già abbandonato la Milano Fashion Week. È il momento di portare le nostre richieste direttamente sulle passerelle di Milano e a coloro che tengono in vita l’industria della pelliccia.
Che sia la tua prima manifestazione o la centesima, vogliamo averti con noi! La marcia fa parte anche di un’intera Settimana di Azione (22–27 settembre), con proteste e iniziative in tutta Milano — se puoi, unisciti a noi anche lì!
