FBI VISITS BOSTON ACTIVISTS
In the past week, animal rights activists in Boston, MA were visited by the FBI, for their involvement in the anti-fur movement. These visits are commonplace when the FBI is trying to create a case against the movement, and should be taken seriously – but should also be seen for what it is – an indication that our movement is being effective. The FBI has historically worked against social justice movements and ours is no different.
Protecting the community from federal agents is easy. Simply don’t talk to law enforcement officers.
There are only four things one should ever say to a law enforcement officer:
“Am I free to leave?”
“I’d like to remain silent.”
“I want an attorney.”
“I do not consent to a search.” (even/especially if a search is already in progress)

Websites Galeries Lafayette (France-based) and Zalando (Germany-based) both came under fire from Collectif SIPE and European animal activists by listing Max Mara items made of real animal fur as faux fur.
