Summer is here and this is typically a season represented by fashion designers removing fur from their ready-to-wear collections in preparation for summer sales. However, this summer has already had multiple designers doubling down on their commitment to killing wildlife for their fur.
On May 11th, Marc Jacobs used real fox fur in their collaboration with Fendi and just this week Max Mara Fashion Group added a fur garment to their US website after months of stagnation.
Since the fur trade is looking for a fight this summer, we are here to give it to them.
Join us July 21 – 23 for the “Summer Beatdown Against Fur”
TOP TARGETS: MAX MARA AND MARC JACOBS
Two scoundrels that have just added more fur to their collection!
Max Mara: this Italian brand currently uses the bodies of minks and foxes in their collections. To succeed against Max Mara, we urge cities with a Max Mara presence to prioritize them during this weekend of action.
Marc Jacobs: Marc has been on our radar since day 1 of the LVMH campaign, but has recently been added to our list of top targets when he showed that he is not only a liar, but also an animal abuser.

THE LONG TERM TARGET
Animal liberation takes time…
LVMH: A long-term campaign, and we are in this one for the long haul regardless of how many summers we spend in the streets. As the largest luxury brand in the world (helmed by the wealthiest person in the world, Bernard Arnault), LVMH owns iconic fur-selling labels such as Louis Vuitton, Dior, and Fendi. Given their industry influence, their commitment to a fur-free policy is crucial for achieving an end to fur.
GLOBAL ACTIONS FOR ANIMAL LIBERATION
We confront some of the most violent industries, driven solely by maximum profits. To stand a chance at defeating fur, unity and collaboration are essential.
If there is ever a time to get active for fur bearing animals – it is during coordinated actions.
No Action is Too Small
Regardless of the size, every action matters when we work together. Whether flooding the streets with protests or canvassing in front of your local Max Mara, each individual’s contribution is part of a collective effort. In a global campaign, one person can make a difference.
